General Rules and Regulation

 

a. A pupil must have 75% attendance to be eligible for promotion. Proper and valid medical certificate from competent authorities must be provided for absence of above 7 days at a time, together with a leave application from parent / guardian. Any Leave of more than three days shall be informed to the Principal in time.

b. Continued absence for 15 consecutive days without intimation to school will lead to the removal of the student from the rolls. The readmission will be according to the discretion of the Principal.

c. Jewellery and costly ornaments are not to be worn by students except ear rings. The students upto IV are not to be worm by students except ear rings. The students upto IV are not allowed to wear watches. The school takes no responsibility for the safety of such articles.

d. Evaluation is based on the CCE Format of CBSE. Four time-bound Formative Assessments and Two Summative Assessments are held in time. The Class PTA meeting will be held after each Assessment. All parents are requested to attend the meetings and sign the progress report.

e. Promotion to higher grades is purely based on the wholesome performance of a student in a year. Those who achieved a minimum of 40% of scores/ grades will be promoted to higher classes. Criteria for Annual Assessments will be as the sum of 10% each four Formative Assessments and 30% each of Two Summative Assessments.

f. Parents shall make sure that their children are fit to be sent to school. Children suffering from contagious or infectious diseases shall not be sent to school before they are fully recovered.

g. Parents are requested to help the students to keeping their Text books and Notes books they neat & tidy. All students shall be sent to school with perfection.

h. All parents should co-operate with the school authorities in implementing discipline in the school. Parents can visit the school to discuss the progress of their wards. It is allowed only on working hours. They should meet the head of the institution at first, but not allowed to meet the students during the class hours.

j. Students are not allowed to go home on working hours provided, the parents take them due to genuine reason and got prior permission.
